Prime Minister Theresa May said that U.S. President Donald Trump advised her to sue EU instead of discussing over Brexit. However, on Friday during their conference, Trump admitted that the suggestion he had was too brutal.

BBC Andrew Marr asked PM May what the president told her, she said that "He told me I should sue the EU - not go into negotiations."

Donald Trump, on the other hand, declined to discuss in details his advice but said that “Maybe she'll take it, it's something she could do if she wanted to. But it was strong advice. And I think it probably would have worked."

Robert Courts, parliamentary private secretary resigned over the PM’s Brexit plans. This is to express his “discontent” with May’s plan of action just before the voting on Monday. He said that this he needs to think about it. He tweeted, "I had to think who I wanted to see in the mirror for the rest of my life."

During the Andrew Marr show, Mrs. May defended her Brexit blueprint. She said that the policy allows the UK to swap trades within nations or even end the free movement of the people. Furthermore, the policy will also allow ending the legal power of European Court Justice.

On Thursday, PM May’s plan was published in details in which advocates the closer links with trading goods, but never the services. Just before it was published, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Brexit Secretary David Davis resigned together with other junior government figures.

President Trump’s opinion about Brexit in which he told BBC Sunday Politics, “The government, unfortunately, believes that Brexit is not a good thing in itself, it seems to think it has to be tempered by non-Brexit."
