Gamers across the globe should start counting down the days. The much-awaited third-person action game titled "Devil's Hunt" is finally coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows sometime in 2019.

The exciting news was, recently, announced by game publisher 1C Company and developer Layopi Games along with a 48-seconder trailer, which teases about what is in store with "Devil's Hunt." In the full trailer, the main character Desmond can be seen in an on-going war between Demons and Angels.

Desmond, who possesses unique demonic powers, totally feel lost and confuse about which side to take. Nonetheless, the main character can exercise useful human and demon abilities alike to overcome a series of obstacles, according to OtakuKart.

It comes after game director Michal Sadowski talked about "Devil's Hunt" gameplay, revealing that the setting will take place in Hell even though there will also be some scenes in both the United States of America and an unnamed ancient city.

He also said that the upcoming third-person action game will concentrate more on showing the internal struggle of Desmond, who is caught up in the middle of a conflict he does not understand yet. Hence, he tries to stay away from the agony of choice for as long as possible.

Director Michal Sadowski, then, went ahead to reveal that the third-person action game's combo system is entirely skill-based and robust. Players can also reassign skill points at any time to stir up their play style, tailoring their strength towards physical combos or magic-like skills.

"We plan some puzzles to solve, as well as many other obstacles that the player will have to cope with," Director Michal Sadowski said in an interview with PC Gamer. "'Devil's Hunt' is intended as the first game of the series, and we want to put a strong focus on introducing the player to the game world and lore behind it," he added.

The narrative of "Devil's Hunt" is based on the original hit Polish fantasy novel "Rownowaga (Equilibrium in English)" by Polish author Paweł Leśniak. The third-person action game is set to hit the gaming shelves sometime in 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. While waiting, check out the teaser below:
