It is a good fay for smartphone enthusiasts. The official poster of OPPO F9 has been leaked online, giving us a fair idea of what the handset would be like.
On Aug. 1, Wednesday, the official poster of OPPO F9 have surfaced online, which shows the much-anticipated device in two color variants - Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue. It also confirmed that the device would feature a dual rear camera set up along with a dual LED flash.
Another feature the leaked official poster confirmed is the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Interestingly, many find it more convenient that the fingerprint scanner is placed on the back side of the smartphone compared to positioning it on the front.

Just like its predecessor, the F9 has its power button on the right and volume rocker on the left. It will also feature a curved corner, while the front is home to a full-screen display with a larger notch-design called "water drop."
Besides that, not much has been confirmed about OPPO F9. Nonetheless, earlier reports suggest that the smartphone will come with a MediaTek Hello P60 SoC with an octa-core CPU paired with 6GB of RAM. The storage could also be expanded up to 256 GB through microSD card slot.
Regarding the battery, OPPO F9 will have a 4100 mAh battery life and is expected to support VOOC technology that will enable 2-hours of talk time only from a five-minute charge. It is also strongly speculated that the smartphone would be water resistant with at least IP67 compatibility.
Oppo Electronics Corporation, better known as OPPO, became the biggest smartphone maker in China since its launch in 2001. The Chinese brand even toppled Apple in China, selling its smartphones at more than 200,000 retail outlets.
In a previous interview with Bloomberg, as cited by The Times of India, Duan Yongping said they manage to toppled Apple in China because the American multinational technology company did not adapt to local competition. OPPO, on the other hand, produced cheaper smartphones with high-end features.
"Apple could not beat us in China because even they have flaws," the 56-year-old electronics mogul said. "They are maybe too stubborn sometimes. They made a lot of great things, like their operating system, but we surpass them in other areas," he added.
Meanwhile, OPPO F9 is expected to hit the market on Aug. 15.
