The "Pokemon GO" Community Day event allows every player to catch a specific Pokemon with a special move and different sets of bonuses. Niantic announced that Chikorita will be the main focus for the September's Community Day event, which will happen on September 22. For some who don't know, this monster is a Grass-Type Starter Pokemon, which is considered one of the weakest Starter Pokemon ever made. And while some are not ecstatic to get one, this revelation would definitely excite every "Pokemon GO" players in town as they all try to go and collect the shiny version of this creature.
Players are still uncertain as to what move Chikorita will be receiving. However, speculation revealed that Frenzy Plant, a move used by Venusaur before, could be the monster's special skill.
