China and Russia-two countries that have always been in agreement with each other, look forward to creating more deals and agreements ahead of their Vladivostok meeting. Russia, for its part, stresses that there never was a time when Russian president Vladimir Putin and Chinese president Xi Jinping have been unhappy with their talks.

Ahead of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, Putin and Xi already have a few agreements that they will discuss alongside the main forum. Russian Ambassador to Beijing Andrei Denisov explained that these agreements are prepared on the sidelines, and for any information to come out about the agreements, people will simply have to wait for it, TASS reports.

Denisov reported on the closeness of the countries. He said that he didn't know a period in time when both were unhappy with the other. If there were any issues, he said, both countries made sure that they were on top of it as soon as possible. The closeness of both leaders extended even beyond the forum-even on the dinner table, in a small gathering, or even on the sidelines.

This was evident when Putin visited Xi last June in Beijing. It was then that he awarded the Russian president with a 'Medal of Friendship' and called the president something close to being his best friend. Independent UK reports that the event was televised nationally, which preceded the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

Chinese president Xi Jinping reiterated both country's relations, saying that it had been important for both sides to improve it. Sino-Russian relations would always remain constant, he said, with the Russians a 'good and old friend' of the people of China as well as its leader. Denisov said that in the summit, China's delegation was a large group of people from different departments.

Russia and China's friendship extend even beyond the forum. Russia, for its part, thinks that it doesn't need to compete with China, but cooperate with it, especially when it needs China's expertise in infrastructure. China and Russia have agreed that isolation isn't in the best interests of their countries; instead, they are calling for cooperation in key areas, including in areas that need immediate attention.

The 4th Eastern Economic Forum, held in Vladivostok, in Russia, will go on from September 11-13.
