Tesla's commitment to how customers experience the electric vehicle company's post-sales service is definitely laudable which continues to make the ownership of a Tesla an appealing prospect as time goes on. In the more recent news, it seems that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk does not plan on stopping anytime soon with his latest goal for the company's Superchargers.
According to Electrek, Tesla originally aimed to have 10,000 Supercharge units deployed as of last year but fell short of their target by the start of 2018. For this year, the electric vehicle company aims to have at least 18,000 fully functional Supercharger units worldwide. While the company fell short of its original target in 2017, Elon Musk seems to be getting ambitious for the last quarter of 2018.

Recently, Elon Musk announced Tesla's plan on making electric vehicles more accessible to its customers on Twitter. According to Musk, Tesla is aiming to expand its Supercharger network to cover all active markets. To add to Musk's announcement, the Tesla CEO promises to double the current network of available Tesla Superchargers - a number that Electrek points out might mean at least 23,000 Superchargers by the last quarter of 2019.

Elon Musk also mentions that the newest version of their Supercharger - the V3 - will be available soon. But fans of Tesla automobiles will still have to wait for 2019 before getting the chance to experience the feature updates of Tesla's Supercharger V3.

Excited Tesla owners who cannot wait to take the new Supercharger V3 for a spin have more to anticipate as Elon Musk teases the upcoming Supercharger's capabilities. In a reply to a question from Twitter user Fred Lambert, Elon Musk points out that Tesla owners can look forward to the Supercharger V3 having a charge rate over 350 kW.
Electrek points out that a 350 kW charge rate is already particularly rare in the current market. This makes Tesla's promise to provide a higher charge rate than current charge rates definitely something to look forward to for Tesla owners. But will other electric vehicle users have to make do with their own brands?
Cnet points out that electric vehicles from other automobiles might get the chance to experience Tesla's Superchargers sometime in the future. But while charging an electric vehicle at a Supercharging station was initially free, most future electric vehicle owners - including Tesla owners - will have to expect to pay to charge from existing Supercharging stations.
