The "Thank U, Next" singer Ariana Grande has always been very open to her emotional and psychological situation. On the contrary, her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson has been very private about it not until now.
The American comedian and actor recently just shared how the aftermath of his and Grande's split has affected his mental health big time. According to E! News, he used his social media account Instagram to open up about what he is going through now and how he is becoming a victim of bullies at present.
"I've kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything," Davidson posted on his account. He added, "I'm trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole world trashes him without any facts or frame of reference."
He also shared his dismay about how bullying, especially cyberbullying, seems to be very ordinary these days. Others even love to put people to shame or put them down. This "it truly is mind boggling," he added.
On his post, he also opened up how long this has been going and how it all started. According to him, the bullying has been almost nine months now. That started after he and Ari decided to go their separate ways.
The reason why he shared his feelings and his suicidal thoughts publicly is not for people to look down nor to have pity on him. As to the post, all he wanted is not just to become an inspiration to people who are going through so much, but also to be the light that will open the eyes of everyone to what is happening behind closed doors. "I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself."
Furthermore, he also wants people to know that no matter how the world would try to put him down, he will still choose to be strong and he will never kill himself. "To all those holding me down and seeing this for what it is - I see you and I love you.''
After learning about Davidson's post, the "Problems" singer defended her ex-fiancé by posting a message on her social media account reminding her fans to at least be "gentler" to him, as posted by Talk To. All she wanted was for everyone to be happy and positive. Besides, it is never good to judge a person depending on what they post on social media.
