Did the Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson has officially moved on just two months after his unexpected breakup with the "Thank U, Next" singer Ariana Grande? Rumor has it that the gent is already seeing someone exclusively again.
An insider shared with E! News that the comedian gentlemen is indeed "dating again." He and Grande have been engaged for four months before they call it quits and turned to their ways in October.
This news came unsurprisingly as another source stated that Davidson has somehow managed to be "doing fine" just a few days after the split.
The source also added that what happened to Pete was a result of undying support he received from his loved ones, especially from his family. They have always been by his side and ready to comfort him in any way during those hard times. They would even crack jokes and make fun of every situation just for Pete to start laughing again, as posted by Celebrity Insider.
He said, "He has a strong support system of family and friends around him that are keeping him laughing."
During an interview that happened days after their split, Davidson expressed his feelings towards what happened to him and Grande. According to him, though it seems the couple got the best of the worlds and were bonded with love, there were just things that are not destined to work out. Though it has ended that way, for him it is still OK.
The comedian shared how much he sincerely cares for her ex-fiancé by still wishing her to have the best in life. He said, "She's a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world."
After they broke up, the ex-couple agreed not to share the details publicly. Before the dating news, Pete has been reported talking about their breakup by throwing jokes in one of the episodes of Saturday Night Live. Unfortunately, the "Breathing" singer didn't buy it, and sources said it even broke her heart more.
Given this reason, Ari felt badly of what Pete just did on the interview. In fact, according to her, she even felt violated that time. But an insider defended Davidson's actions saying that during that moment, what the comedian did was just a part of his mechanisms in dealing with the pain of losing Ari. The process has been very difficult for him, and it is only through jokes he feels comforted.
