The Avengers: Endgame trailer is here, and fans could not be more happy and sad at the same time especially with Iron Man's situation. Tony Stark's predicament had viewers riled up so much so that they had turned to Elon Musk for help in rescuing him from space.

The Avengers: Endgame trailer begins with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) adrift in space inside the Guardians' ship The Benatar. He faces his broken helmet and records a message for Pepper Pots (Gwyneth Paltrow), and the tone of his voice suggests Stark feels hopeless that he will ever get back to Earth or stay alive for long.

After all, he is running low on food, water, and oxygen. He has been drifting through space for four days with no promise of rescue. His only companion is Nebula (Karen Gillan), who is now half robot so hunger and thirst may not be a problem for her.

Fans immediately turned to Elon Musk for help in Iron Man's rescue following the release of the Avengers: Endgame trailer and after seeing Starks' dire situation. One fan said that Musk could save Stark since he is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course, the fan is referring to Musk's cameo appearance in the 2010 film Iron Man 2. He appeared as himself and even had a brief friendly conversation with Stark.

Meanwhile, another fan reasoned that Iron Man needs to be rescued since he still has to defeat Thanos (Josh Brolin). Another asked to send a Tesla in space to rescue Iron Man.

"@elonmuskHey. Remember your boy Tony Stark? You met him snd that race where a guy with whips ruined everything. Well he's stuck in space now. Could you like send a Tesla out to get him or something?"

The genius philanthropist responded to a tweet referencing his cameo appearance in the movie Machete Kills. In this film, the Tesla and SpaceX mastermind appears as himself. He shakes Danny Trejo's hand before he sends him into space.

Fans initially asked NASA for help in rescuing Iron Man in space. The facility played along and replied with instructions on how to rescue the Avenger. However, when their pleas proved unfruitful, they then turned to Musk, who was dubbed as "the real Iron Man" in a documentary, for assistance.

Jokes aside, there have been different theories about how Iron Man escapes space. Fans believe that Pepper Potts herself will rescue Stark. Regardless, viewers will find out what happens when the film opens in theaters on April 26, 2019.
