It looks like tech geeks have a new apple of the eye right now as the anticipation for the imminent Samsung Galaxy S10 remains high in the past few months. Due to the lack of official details from the South Korean tech giant, avid fans could not help but speculate on what to expect on the yet-to-be-released smartphone.

Recent reports suggest that Samsung Galaxy S10 will be, officially, available in the market on Mar. 8, 2019. However, pre-orders for Samsung's latest flagship will be available starting Feb. 20, 2019.

As for its specifications, it is being claimed that Samsung Galaxy S10 will have a larger screen compared to its predecessor -- the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S9 - with 19:9 screen aspect ratio and 1440 x 3040 screen resolution. The 6.11-inch display is, reportedly, going to have a pinhole for the camera instead of a notch and, of course, an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

Furthermore, it is said to use a Snapdragon 855 chipset that could support fingerprint technology, an 8GB or 12 GB RAM, an up to 16 MP rear cameras, dual front cameras, and 128 GB to 1 TB storage. Reports have it that the up and coming Samsung Galaxy S10 will run the Android Pie as its operating system.

Latest news also suggests that Samsung Galaxy S10 will offer a reverse wireless charging support just like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Famous gadget tipster, Even Blass, supported the claim and stated that this feature would allow users to charge other compatible devices such as watches and handsets by simply placing it on its chassis.

Blass even shared an alleged leaked photo of the Samsung Galaxy S10 on his official Twitter account. The snap, though blurry, seem to support the previous claims that the new handset will have an Infinity-O display and a bezel-free front.

The "budget-friendly" Samsung Galaxy S10 will offer 12 GB storage for about $890 while the regular variant with will be priced at $1,018 (128 GB) and $1,272 (512 GB). The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, on the other hand, will cost $1,145 (128 GB), $1,400 (512 GB) and $1,782 (1 TB).

Earlier this week, GalaxyClub revealed that South Korea-based company filed a certification for the so-called Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, which is said to have a total battery capacity of 3,100 mAh.  In other words, aside from a regular unit, fans could expect another variant from Samsung.

While this report could possibly be true, it is important to note that Samsung has yet to confirm this new speculation. Hence, fans should take this claim lightly until everything is proven true and correct. Stay tuned for the latest Samsung Galaxy S10 news and updates.
