Samuel Jackson may have just confirmed that time travel is a big part of the story in Avengers: Endgame. The actor even revealed who is capable of undoing the Thanos snap.

Jackson may have let slip an important plot detail in Avengers: Endgame in his interview during a set visit last year. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the actor explained why he thinks Captain Marvel deserves to headline her movie and credits her impressive powers.

According to Jackson Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, has a special set of skills that make her the strongest among the Marvel superheroes. She is as strong as Thanos, and the actor believes her powers will come handy when it comes to defeating the Mad Titan in Avengers: Endgame. In addition to her strength, Jackson says that Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) can also move through time.

"And at some point, we'll find out how powerful she is and all the things that she's capable of. She's one of the few people in the Marvel universe that can make time travel, so..."

If Jackson proves to be accurate, then he may just have confirmed fans' speculations that time travel is a big factor in the rescue of the decimated in Avengers: Endgame. Rumors have it that the sequel will deal heavily with time travel or switching between alternate realities to bring back the dead superheroes in Avengers: Infinity War.

The Avengers: Endgame trailer fuels this theory when Scott Lang aka Ant-Man appeared at the end of the preview at the Avengers' headquarters. Interestingly, he has his van with him, which fans already saw Scott modified to equip the Quantum portal machine. Before Jackson's revelation, fans assumed that Scott travels through the time vortex to undo the Thanos snap.

However, with captain Marvel confirmed to appear in Avengers: Endgame, then Scott does not need to travel to the Quantum Realm. Danvers can travel through time without the need to go into a different realm and just by utilizing her powers.

Fans can take this recent progress in the Avengers: Endgame time travel theory with a grain of salt. It is important to remember though that Jackson is one of the mainstay actors in the Marvel film franchise. He plays the character Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has done so since 2008. He might just be one of the legitimate sources of information when it comes to anything Marvel-movie related.
