In a few more days, top smartphone companies from all over the world will gather to reveal their newest models in an attempt to capture the public's attention and spending money. Here are some things fans should expect to see at the Mobile World Congress, happening in just a few days' time.
Samsung
Korean tech giant Samsung has often acquired the most attention among Android fans, and for this MWC it's not really that different. Samsung is slated to reveal their newest models: the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+.
The Galaxy S10e is the lowest priced among the three, while the Galaxy S10+ is the most expensive. The latter, however, is packed with great features: three rear cameras, two front-facing cameras, and an option to have a 1TB storage/12GB RAM model.
OnePlus
Known for producing affordable yet great quality smartphones designed to take on the big names in the industry OnePlus is coming with a new model now designed for gaming.
Recent OnePlus flagships have been found to run games very well. The 6T, in particular, even outperformed the Razer Phone 2 in running "PUBG Mobile." Although it's worth noting that the latter played the game in a higher resolution than the 6T, it's a fact that OnePlus' flagship still runs games pretty well.
This MWC, fans might see a OnePlus model designed for playing games. Fans will just have to go to the MWC to find out.
LG
Despite its capability to produce phones with foldable displays, LG won't be joining the likes of Samsung, Xiaomi and Motorola in the foldable phones race this MWC. Instead, the tech company will be unveiling a new 5G flagship: the V50 ThinQ, GSM Arena reported.
They will also unveil the G8 ThinQ, an LTE phone that uses the entire display as an audio amplifier. This phone is designed for those who love music, video streaming, and mobile gaming.
Nokia
Nokia is going to reveal at least two handsets at the MWC: an affordable model that runs on Android 9.0, and a top of the line model that will take mobile photography to a new level.
For those looking for Nokia-durability at a low price, Nokia will be releasing the Nokia 1 Plus. Although it will feature entry-level specs like 1GB of RAM and a 5MP camera, it will be very affordable, perfect for those looking for a backup phone.
The Nokia 9 PureView, on the other hand, looks like it will be a hit among those looking for the perfect camera phone, thanks to the five cameras mounted at the back. The new phone won't have a notch and will feature a fingerprint reader under the display.
