Selena Gomez has been through highs and lows since she was diagnosed with Lupus in 2015. The 26-year-old star experienced excruciating pain, different side effects, a major surgery, so she is reportedly prioritizing her health today.

Selena Gomez disappeared from the limelight, so some people thought that she was dealing with "alcohol and drug problems." But, radio host Kellie Rasberry revealed it was never the case.

Kellie Rasberry said, via Radar Online, Selena Gomez didn't have a drug or alcohol problem like other young stars her age. But, she is making it "a priority to get the best care for herself."

Selena Gomez canceled the last two legs of her Stars Dance Tour in 2013 after she experienced "unexplained debilitating pain." She then underwent different tests that resulted in the diagnosis of lupus. She had been performing on stage for some of her international tours, but she would later prepare herself for her chemotherapy.

From there, Selena Gomez started to experience different side effects. She even developed anxiety and depression, underwent chemotherapy, and had an emergency kidney transplant. Fortunately, her best friend and fellow actress Francia Rasia donated one of her kidneys to help the "Back to You" hitmaker return to good shape.

All seemed to go well for Selena Gomez, but she continuously suffered from anxiety. Recently, she entered a rehab facility to cure her mental health problem.

Selena Gomez was once seen partying hard with her then on-and-off boyfriend, Justin Bieber, in Hollywood. But now, she is happily single and focusing on her health. Kellie Rasberry added it is the actress' greatest priority."

 
Selena Gomez recently proves she is now in good shape in an Instagram post. The former Disney star chose to spend her time with her best friends for a fun-filled holiday than to attend the 2019 Grammy Awards, per Mirror Online.

Selena Gomez now looks "happy and healthy" after spending some time in the rehab following a breakdown. "My best friend is getting married, so we celebrated her! Future Mrs. Lopez," she captioned one of her make-up free snaps on the beach with a group of friends.

Selena Gomez was wearing a two-piece white bikini, giving it some colors by pairing it with a pair of gold hoops. To complete her beach look, she let her dark locks pulled back in a ponytail.

They also enjoyed a series of photo ops as they showed their looks and bodies on the picturesque golden sand. Of course, fans were all praises as they called Selena Gomez "beautiful," their "queen," "amazing," and asked her to keep that glow.
