Evelyn Cormier who ran into an American named Justin during a rugby match in Colombia went into the process of applying for K-1 visa and became one of the stars in TLC's' reality tv series 90 Day Fiancé on its second season. These alums of the show, Danny and Amy, Brett and Daya, like Evelyn and Justin are still married until now despite some weird circumstances they have to undergo and learn from each other. The latest update now for Evelyn (or Evelin before moving to the United States) is that she will embark again on another journey, this time to fulfill her dreams of being one of the American Idol winners and perform alongside Katy Perry.
No doubt, Evelyn Cormier has it, the looks and the talent to be the next American Idol, as she has already been recognized as a musical artist along with some tracks of her album Ghost. Tracks include Let It Run, Got to Be Gone and Carte Postal and a lot more. Her recent tracks namely Yard Sale Guitar and Nickels and Dimes can be heard through Spotify, Deezer, and YouTube under the genre of rock. Good thing though, her popularity as an alum of a popular reality show would help her a lot in votes and the viewers' familiarity when and if she continues to the contest proper.
And now that Evelyn Cormier has already advanced her way to the Top 14, she is getting closer and closer to her dreams, with fans and viewers already scrutinizing her talents and expecting her to show more. But so far, these top-notch personalities, are already impressed with Evelyn Cormier's recently performed duet with Chris Isaak.
If and when Evelyn Cormier finally enters American Idol and knowing her conservative, Christian background, will she get Katy Perry's attention to some of their similarities and make that as an edge to all other contestants? Or if some skeptics are right, Cormier's voice isn't that fitting to be on the show and just uses her popularity as a reality star in 90 Day Fiancé? There is still a slim chance and a few days more to know Evelyn Cormier's fate if she moves ahead to next round when American Idol Season 17 premieres on March 3 on ABC.
