Technical constraints and some safety issues prevented Nicki Minaj and Juice WRLD from going live at their Bratislava venue, the Ondrej Nepela Arena, on Friday evening, February 22. It was one of their first events at the outset of their European tour.

The cancellation that night was due to the unsatisfactory technical facilities at the venue. With thousands of fans bound for disappointment, the rap star took the time to reach out to them and apologize for the situation with a message on Instagram.

With the message, the rap diva uploaded a video taken at the venue with her audience and her explaining to them what the situation was and what challenges they were facing at the site.

In her message, she shared, "I can't believe my fans sometimes."

And she went on to say how her audience was very considerate and understanding of the situation when it was explained to them. She spoke of it being difficult to go on with the performance considering that the building did not have the power supply to safely operate the equipment needed for her show.

Apparently, according to her posted message on IG, the success of the show depended very much on technical equipment, which necessitated an adequate power supply to operate it. The show's choreography apparently also relied largely on the use of lifts to move Minaj above as well as below the stage area.

The lifts also did the job of moving props and all sorts of equipment needed for the performance. The dancers and the band also used the same facility. In short, it was impossible for the show to go on without all of these things that relied so much on the adequacy of the power supply, which was unavailable at the venue.

Minaj also detailed how she and Juice WRLD waited for "three hours" because the power would trip off after only a short time of being powered on, and every time it happened, they had to wait to do it again and again.

Minaj pointed out that safety was a paramount issue and that there was a "risk of someone getting hurt."

She then reminded all her fans of her next stop in Lodz, Poland, and that her tour was going to carry on despite the slight hitch and was not going to be derailed. The Nicki Minaj European Tour will resume Sunday, February 24, at the Atlas Arena.

"I'm so excited to bring the full Nicki Minaj experience to my fans in Europe," she had initially shared at the outset of her tour when she promised fans a "fully immersive Queen experience."

The Nicki WRLD Tour will make a stop in Budapest, Hungary, at the Budapest Sportarena on February 25, following the Lodz show, then on to Berlin, Germany, at the Mercedes Benz Arena, on the 28th, which is the last stop for February.

In March, the rap artist will continue her tour, on through Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, and then Brussels, Paris, Bordeaux, London, Birmingham, and Dublin by March 15.

The last leg of her tour for the rest of March will take her to Glasgow, Manchester, Esch-sur-Alzette, Frankfurt, Cologne, Amsterdam, Zurich, and the last stop, Geneva, by the 28th.
