There is no denying that Park Bo Gum is among the most sought-after Asian stars today. As a matter of fact, he already gained various recognitions for his diverse range of roles in both television and film at the age of 25. It seems like his star is set to get even brighter with the reports saying that he would be working with another South Korean superstar.

Park Bo Gum's most-recent television project called Encounter just concluded. In the said show, the close pal of Song Joong Ki portrayed the role of Jinhyuk, who was a new employee at a hotel owned by Soohyun, portrayed by Song Hye Kyo. The series revolved around Jinhyuk and Soohyun's love story. So, what's next for this budding Asian superstar?

Well, recent reports suggest that Park Bo Gum is set to share the spotlight with Train to Busan star Gong Yoo in an upcoming new film. After months of speculations, it was confirmed that the two South Korean stars will be working in one project together. Should everything push through, this is going to be the comeback of the Love in the Moonlight star in the big screen since his first-ever movie called Chinatown.

Titled as Seo Bok, the forthcoming new movie will center on the creation of the first human close named Seo Bok, who will be portrayed by Park Bo Gum. Former intelligence agent Ki Heon, who will be played by Gong Yoo, will meet Seo Bok and get caught up in hazardous incidents. Spoilers have it that Ki Heon will help Seo Bok in staying away from various evil forces who are trying to hunt the clone down.

Aside from the fact that this is going to be Park Bo Gum and Gong Yoo's first movie together, another factor that makes the film very interesting is the fact that Lee Yong Joo will be directing the upcoming new film. The production for Seo Bok will kick off in April.

Meanwhile, in January, Park Bo Gum admitted he was stunned after learning that Song Hye Kyo will also star in Encounter. He even shared how working with Song Joong Ki's wife felt like. "Doing emotional scenes with Song Hye Kyo, there were a lot of moments when I would find myself just tearing up," the actor said. "It was a good experience for me," he added.

Park Bo Gum is also set to meet his Filipino fans on April 27. Blossom Entertainment, which the actor's talent agency, confirmed the event through a Facebook post shared on Feb. 27. The meet-and-greet session in the Philippines will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena. Ticketing details will be announced soon.
