Model-actor Clint Bondad went to Instagram to clarify some important matters about his recent interview with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. The interview, in particular, took place on an episode of "Tonight With Boy Abunda."

According to Pep.ph, Catriona Gray confirmed that things did not end up well with Clint Bondad, confirm all rumors about their supposed breakup. Apparently, the two have called it quits after being together for six years. The model then decided to go to social media to show his support for his ex-girlfriend and that he wishes her nothing but the best.

In Bondad's Instagram post, he claimed that he fell in love with the Miss Universe 2018 too much. His affection towards her got the best of him that he allowed his world to revolve around her. He said that Catriona fascinated him in different ways, especially since they both share almost the same interests and are "absolute polar opposites."

Clint Bondad added that the "crazy thing" about Catriona Gray is she knows things that are better for him than himself. And while he admits being depressed for a very long period of time, he never blamed or included his relationship with Gray.

But despite his efforts to never allow anything to mess up with their relationship, Bondad admitted that the blame should be on him. He said that due to this protective personality, including his continuous effort to shield their relationship, he failed to things in a clearer and more rational way. For him, his efforts were starting to become counterproductive.

For instance, Clint Bondad was way too focused on Catriona Gray that he already forgot to think about himself, not to mention some personal issues he was facing at that time. He added that he was not even able to notice how their relationship grew apart.

Bondad further claimed that love can make someone blind and, thus, force you to make "dumb stuff." Not only was he draining himself, but he also did things that he neither wanted to do nor pursue.

Rappler reports that when the model-actor said realized what was happening, he could no longer stop Catriona Gray from drifting away. But if there is one thing he is thankful of, it is Gray who saved him from himself.

Clint reportedly agreed with everything the Miss Universe 2018 said on television, particularly on how their relationship ended. In an interview in the aforementioned show, Catriona said that they both "outgrew" each other.
