Romance seems to be blooming on Last Man Standing season 7. However, it doesn't look like Mike (played by Tim Allen) is comfortable with it and he'll do his best to stop whatever is going on.

Last Man Standing season 7 episode 19, which airs on at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, on FOX, will see the return of Mike's mother-in-law, Bonnie (played by Susan Sullivan). She and Mike's boss, Ed (played by Hector Elizondo), will click so well that they will start to hang out together.

But Mike really does not think it's a great idea for Ed and Bonnie to start a romance, mostly because this isn't a win-win situation for him. Despite warnings from his wife, Vanessa (played by Nancy Travis), to never interfere with this relationship, Mike predictably doesn't listen, as per the episode synopsis.

In another storyline, Mandy (played by Molly Cook) and Kyle (played by Christoph Sanders) learn that they could listen to the conversations of other people at home with their new security system. So, they spy on Ryan (played by Jordan Masterson) and Kristin (played by Amanda Fuller) but it won't turn out so well.

Speaking of Cook, the actress told Cinema Blend that she was definitely in the crossfire of the casting changes in Last Man Standing season 7. Cook replaced Molly Ephraim as Mandy since the latter actress didn't sign up when the series got reinstated one year after its cancellation on ABC.

"The supportive ones are the ones that stand out to me," Cook said of the fan reactions about her taking over the role. "I always am responsive because it matters so much to me to hear the positive; I thank them every time."

Although Cook and Ephraim look miles apart from each other, especially the hairstyle and the mannerisms, their character remains the same. Mandy is still a fashionista who remains devoted to Kyle.

Meanwhile, FOX has not yet confirmed if Last Man Standing season 7 will get a follow-up but it seems like season 8 is a given since it's the network's third highest-rated comedy series. There are also plans to move the show on another night for the 2019-2020 season.

According to TV Line, Friday nights on FOX will soon be a WWE block. So, if Last Man Standingearns another season it will have to be assigned to a new schedule.
