Supernatural season 14 is back on air this week after its month-long break. Along with the show's return, however, the CW also announced that season 14 has a finale date.
In a report from Entertainment Weekly, it has been confirmed that Supernatural season 14 will be temporarily saying goodbye on Thursday, April 25. Since this season was a 20-episode run, Supernatural is bowing out early for the summer.
Fans, however, have nothing to worry about losing the show since The CW has renewed the series for its 15th season last January. It will be back for the 2019-2020 TV slate.
In the meantime, viewers who would like to watch Supernatural season 14 all over again, if not catch up on the drama, can do so via Netflix. According to Netflix Life, all 20 episodes of the season could be made available on the streaming platform beginning May 3, 2019, judging by The CW's previous arrangements with Netflix.
Usually, after Supernatural has its finale, Netflix will pick up on the series a week later. But the outlet also advised that the said date might change given that Netflix's contract with The CW will be up for renewal this spring.
Meanwhile, Supernatural season 14 episode 15, which airs on Thursday, March 14, at 8:00 p.m., will have Sam (played by Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (played by Misha Collins) traveling to a nice small town in Arkansas. However, things don't appear to be what they are as Sam, and Castiel would soon discover.
A photo from the episode, which was posted on Comic Book, show kids looking quite normal and average. The teaser also hinted that the town has a Pleasantville vibe to it so what might seem to be the problem with this place though?
Dean (played by Jensen Ackles), on the other hand, will be buddying up with Jack (played by Alexander Calvert) to see an old friend in this episode. The CW hasn't revealed who this familiar face will be but is it somehow connected to Dean's problems with Rowena (played by Ruth Connell)?
The following Thursday, the Winchester brothers are finally back to working together on Supernatural season 14 episode 16. In this episode, they will come across a monster that they have never encountered before. Jack, on the other hand, is going to try and create a good impression on a group of people but for what purpose? Viewers will have to tune in to this episode to find out on Thursday, March 21.
