Fans wondering what has happened to Julian Booth (played by Jenna Dewan) will finally get their answers on The Resident season 2. Everything will come to light in episode 18, airing on Monday, March 25, at 8:00 p.m. on FOX.

The episode listinconfirmed that Dewan is going to appear on The Resident season 2 episode 18. But what it doesn't say, however, is if it's going to be a flashback scene, a cameo, or just an image of Dewan in the series.

Viewers may recall that when The Resident season 2 returned after its brief hiatus last February, Devon (played by Manish Dayal) learned that Julian wasn't in the car following her accident. There was no body to suggest she died, so Devon kept frantically sending her messages.

However, Julian wasn't also answering her phone, making Devon even more worried. Only when it was made clear to the viewers that a QuoVadis boss has been monitoring Julian's phone all along did it show that things were pretty serious in The Resident season 2. Someone has been making sure to shut down Julian, and it could be related to the mess QuoVadis has made regarding its high-profile medical invention.

The police have done their investigations, but it has only made Devon the primary suspect. Will The Resident season 2 episode 18 clear his name or will this further complicate everything for the young doctor if it turned out that Julian is dead?

Meanwhile, this episode will also feature Nic's (played by Emily Van Camp) estranged father. Guest star Corbin Bernsen will play the role as the family needs to deal with Nic's sister's condition.

It's the first time viewers of The Resident are getting a back story on Nic's relationship with her dad. As it will turn out, their dad doesn't exactly have a good relationship with his children.

But before this episode airs, The Resident season 2 episode 17 will still come first on March 18. This will involve the group to set aside their differences to band together to take down QuoVadis.

Their insider at QuoVadis is fighting for his life though. To save him, Nic and Conrad (played by Matt Czurchy) have to decide if they have to use the one and only machine that can help him, which is currently strapped on to a young patient.

Meanwhile, The Resident has not yet been renewed for a third season as of press time. The show has eight more episodes to air until May.
