Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's new and controversial film, Good Boys, will take viewers back to the 2000s with its classic comedy antics. The film already dropped its Red Band trailer that showed it is not an ordinary kid movie with its R rating.

"Just because you make a movie, doesn't mean you're old enough to see it," Rogen said in a post when he dropped Good Boys trailer on Twitter. The warning comes true when the kids, led by Jacob Tremblay as Max, Keith L. Williams as Lucas, and Brady Noon as Thor, are seen holding adult toys as weapons.

Good Boys looks like a South Park episode, but it is a movie about self-awareness as the kids go on a journey to understand their puberty. After the controversial use of blackface on the movie's set, here comes the group of young boys that can't even watch the film they did without their parents, per Highsnobiety.

Twelve-years-old Jacob is extremely worried after getting an invite to a make-out party, which will be his first time. With the help of his two best friends, Lucas and Thor, they will work on a plan to learn some pointers on how to kiss before the big night comes.

In Good Boys, they will use the drone of Max's father that he is not allowed to touch on spying on a teenage couple next door. However, instead of seeing them making out, something horrible happens, and the drone gets destroyed. In his desperation not to anger his dad and replace the drone, Max skips school with Thor and Lucas. From here, they experience the wildest day of their lives when they end up with stolen drugs, meet frat bros, and run from the cops.

According to Den of Geek, Tremblay leads the trio in Good Boys. The 12-year-old kid is first seen in the 2015 movie Room with Captain Marvel star Brie Larson, who received the Best Lead Actress at the Oscars for the film. He also appeared in the movies The Predator, The Book of Henry, and Before I Wake, and on an episode of The Last Man on Earth, led by Will Forte, who is also the father of his character in the movie.

Lucas, on the other hand, rounded the group in Good Boys. The film is also Noon's comeback project after going on a hiatus for six years. He was previously seen on Tommy Darmody's Boardwalk Empire on HBO.

Aside from the kids, Molly Gordon, Midori Francis, Lil Red Howerya, and Will Forte will be seen in Good Boys. The film is set to hit theaters on August 16.
