Power Rangers are back with a new nWay-developed video game called Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid. The trailer was recently released, teasing fans on what to expect from the upcoming game. Aside from the trailer, the pre-order details have been released as well.
Many fans are excited about the new Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid, which will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One this year. nWay revealed the video game will be a new experience for gamers when they play it, though it looks similar to the Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. The trailer was also released and it already teases what players can expect on the upcoming game - like Marvel vs. Capcom-styled game.
Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid will reportedly be 3v3 tag fighter that incorporates different characters along with fighting combos. The fighting game will include both new and classic rangers, as well as several villains from the show. They will go head to head against each other in team battles - but it can also be played solo or via online play. Players need to be aware of their character's health bar and other resources to understand what's going on and to perform well on the game.
As for the characters of the upcoming video game, fans can expect to see Ranger Slayer, Goldar, Kat, Mastodon Sentry, Gia, Magna Defender, Tommy, Lord Drakkon, and Jason at launch. As seen in the trailer, each of them shows their ability during the combat, as well as certain signature moves for them all. Furthermore, Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid will also debut even more powerful abilities where fighters can have as an additional means of attack - or the Megazord Ultras as referred by nWay.
When the game launches, it will reportedly include three new characters and a new warrior skin, which can be purchased separately from the title for $19.99. The game is available for pre-order now, and anyone who does will reportedly get an exclusive bonus Green Ranger V2 character skin. There is also a special Digital Collector's Edition where players can pre-order for $39.99. It comes along with a full game download, the Season One Pass, as well as exclusive Lord Drakkon Evo II and Kimberly Hart character skins.
Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid will reportedly be out in spring 2019, while the PC version might be released later this year.
