Ever since Nick Jonas and Priyank Chopra got married, the two have been plagued with a lot of rumors. The latest from the rumor mill is that the couple is fighting over money because of the Indian actress' allegedly overspending.
Gossip Cop debunks the fabricated story a tabloid magazine created about Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. Allegedly, the 26-year-old singer is getting frustrated by his wife's "expensive taste." "Nick and Priyanka have plenty of money," an alleged source said. "It's just that he comes from a middle-class family - dad was a preacher, and mom was a teacher - and she loves to splurge."
The insider claimed Priyanka Chop used to spend money on luxurious things even before she met Nick Jonas, and she is continuously doing so. However, the Quantico star's rep denied the claims and said the story is completely "false." The agent continued to say the pair never fight over money about her alleged overspending.
To prove the claim is wrong, Nick Jonas even recently bought Priyanka Chopra a $200,000 Mercedes-Maybach as a surprise after his latest single "Sucker" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The proud wife shared a photo of them together, drinking champagne in front of their new car. "When the hubby goes number one.. the wifey gets a @maybach!!" she captioned the snap. From the looks of it, the songwriter is more than happy to overspend for the love of his life.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra admitted that she is "falling short" in her marital duties with Nick Jonas, but it is not because of her alleged overspending. The Miss World 2000 revealed in an interview with The View, via Buzz Feed, she didn't know how to cook.
"I can't cook," Priyank Chopra said. She also revealed she told Nick Jonas about it when he proposed, telling him that she couldn't marry the girl who couldn't cook after he grew up from a southern home with a mother who has amazing cooking skills. However, she said she could make eggs.
"I'm a terrible, terrible wife in that sense," she continued to say. But despite her inability to cook, Nick Jonas told Priyanka Chopra that it wouldn't be a problem as he also couldn't prepare her good food.
Priyanka Chopra was surprised with Nick Jonas' response, saying guys would usually say "it's okay." But her husband seemed not minding not seeing her holding pots and pans. Aside from being one of the most celebrated and highest-paid actresses in India, the Jonas Brothers' members fell in love with her infectious personality. She also has an incredible love for animals, impeccable style, and a lot of personal traits that anyone could fall in love with.
