The third season of STAR just released its eleventh episode titled Watch The Throne on March 20. And based on the recent events, things are not going great for everyone in the show.
Primarily, Star is now in prison. And it seems that she will stay behind bars for quite a long time. Secondly, Gigi is back, and the rivalry between her and Alex is getting more intense. The title of the eleventh episode appears to be focused on Alex's struggle to stay in the spotlight. But even so, her career is becoming more fruitful as seen in the latest episode.
Thirdly, for Simone, things did not go well along her way as she went to fight for Atlanta in becoming a sanctuary city together with Mateo and Derek. As for Noah, he did a great job of becoming a much more responsible person in the previous episodes. However, in light of the recent events, it seems that he is having a few setbacks as well when it comes to his vices and old habits.
Although the eleventh episode showed a very intense picture of what is currently going on with the lives of the characters, fans are not loving the idea of a heartbreaking plot. As it happens, the ratings went down, especially when Star was sent to prison.
Accordingly, STAR fans are now hopeful for things to fall in their right places come the next episode of the show. However, the title of the twelfth episode is already revealed to be Toxic.
From the title alone, it already seemed that the characters would continue to face a lot of toxicity in the upcoming episode. And this hunch had become much more apparent when the official synopsis and promotional trailer were released by Fox.
According to these teasers, it looks like Star will still stay in prison, and her battle with distance will be emphasized as she now misses Davis. As for Alex, she will continue to battle with Gigi now that the ASA nomination is fast approaching. So, certainly, there will be a great singing battle again between the two.
For Noah, the upcoming episode reveals that he will try to fight his old vices and habits which he picked up, once more, in the latest episode.
With all of these things at hand, STAR fans are really worried about the turnout of events this season. And there is a huge possibility that the show will continue to have low ratings when this kind of plot progresses according to some critics. Nevertheless, viewers will still have to wait for the upcoming episode of STAR to drop on March 27. So, there is still hope for the fans.
