The Blacklist season 6 episode 13 is going to start at an earlier time on Friday, March 29, at 8:00 p.m. It will be a two-hour episode that will have Reddington (played by James Spader) pulling another con.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Red will be working with the Task Force to locate Robert Vesco (played by Stacy Keach), a criminal and a con man highly wanted by the government. It was alleged that this man died in Cuba in 2007 but recent events have shown he's actually still actively doing what he does best.

But a short clip from The Blacklist season 6 episode 13 shows that Red has a different plan and he's going to do another heist with the help of Vesco. According to the show's executive producer Jon Bokenkamp, Vesco might just be the kind of guy that could have taught Red all the secrets of the trade and he may be someone that Red could find inspiring.

Another teaser from The Blacklist season 6 episode 13 also gives viewers a glimpse of the group known as the Osterman Umbrella Company. Previous episodes of this series have shown that this group works so seamlessly that they won't hesitate to kill off their own agents just to preserve their secret.

It seems the Osterman Umbrella Company is targeting the Task Force next. But who could be behind this group and why are they so desperate to eradicate the other team and does Red have an inkling?

Meanwhile, last week's episode of The Blacklist season 6 received high ratings. It earned 4.1 million in total viewers on a Friday night. The episode featured Red almost getting executed in prison but obviously, he has escaped death again.

But The Blacklist, and Reddington for that matter, isn't in danger of going anywhere since NBC has already renewed the show for a seventh season, according to Variety.  For a while, however, fans thought that the show would fail to get another season given its dwindling ratings and the move to the Friday night schedule.

When The Blacklist debuted in 2013 on NBC, the show was receiving over 12 million viewers. It was also the number one new drama series for that particular year.

Aside from Spader, set to return for The Blacklist season 7 in 2019 to 2020 are Megan Boone (as Liz), Diego Klattenhoff (as Donald Ressler) and Harry Lennix (as Harold Cooper). Not expected to return, however, is Ryan Eggold (as Tom Keen), who's new series New Amsterdam has also been renewed for another season on NBC.
