There will be plenty of new faces in DC's Titans season 2. Of particular interest, however, are the casting of the assassin Deathstroke, also known as Slade Wilson, and his two grown kids.
DC confirmed in early March that Esai Morales will play the Titans season 2 villain. According to Entertainment Weekly, Deathstroke will have a large presence in the upcoming installment.
But Titans season 2 will portray Deathstroke as a father and husband, aside from the Titans' arch-enemy. So, joining him in the show is his daughter, Rose, also known as Ravager, and his son, Joseph, also known as Jericho.
Chelsea T. Zhang will play Rose/Ravager in Titans season 2, who has a complicated relationship with the members of Teen Titanz, as per Screen Rant. Chella Man, on the other hand, has been cast as Joseph/Jericho, who is actually part of Team Titan.
As in the comic series, Jericho will be a mute whose powers are his persuasive eyes, as per Deadline. Incidentally, this is Man's first acting job and he's also physically disabled in real life as a deaf person. He actually knows how to sign because that's how he communicates.
Meanwhile, DC has not yet announced the release date of Titans season 2. However, production seems to be in full swing as some of the cast members have been sharing photos and videos from the set.
A video from the set of Titans season 2 is actually making the rounds on the popular community site Reddit. It shows the cast members -- Conor Leslie (as Wonder Girl), Curran Walters (as Jason Todd) and Ryan Potter (as Beast Boy) --- working out together, while Minka Kelly (as Dove) and Anna Diop (as Koriand'r) cheer them on.
Meanwhile, Titans season 1 is available on Netflix for viewers outside of the United States. American fans, however, should get a subscription for the DC Universe app to watch the series. But according to IGN, fans may also watch the show without the DC streaming service if they purchase the show digitally at various video retailers online, such as iTunes, for $24.99.
"The digital release of Titans: The Complete First Season release will include 1080p Full HD Video with DTS-HD Master Audio for English 5.1," the press release stated. "In addition to featuring all 11 episodes in high-definition, the bundle includes over 40 minutes of special features including a new featurette."
