When the talks are about awards and nominations, actors and actresses are scrambling to get the trophy. But why are they acting so well on their movie, to even change their physical looks for a role? It's all because of the recognition an award can give to them, and all entertainment performers strive to win the award no matter what. Even their managers and strategists know well how to choose the right project that can make their talent stand out.

For Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, they are at a constant drive to perfection, not only for their fans, but because this is their craft, and they love their job. These two artists do not need to prove anything already as they have all the awards and the topmost part in the Billboard charts every time their music plays. But for some, there is still a competition going on between these award-winning artists, and good thing though, neither Taylor Swift or Beyoncé do care about the rumors about them.

While the Love Story and Halo singers are currently busy on their individual projects, recent news has circulated that there will be a major "catfight" between the two artists in next year's Oscars. Obviously, the news is definitely fabricated since the said award-giving body does not nominate one year in advance and even to those projects who are not even finished filming yet. Particularly with Taylor Swift's film adaptation of the Broadway musical Cats, which also stars Jennifer Hudson and Rebel Wilson, the movie has not even shown its official trailer yet although it is set to be released on December 20, 2019.

Talking about Cats, it is indeed a promising film to watch out for, being one of Broadway's most beloved musicals which date back to 1982 making it one of the longest-running musicals of all time. Taylor Swift will portray the flirtatious red adult female cat with a white chest and black spots and marks named as Bombalurina, while Jennifer Hudson will take on the role of the glamorous Grizabella, and Rebel Wilson stars as Jennyanydots, a large tabby cat, who is lazy in the morning but goes on a hidden agenda at night to teach mice and cockroaches music and dancing so as to avoid their naturally destructive habits. The musical itself is award-winning with 7 Tony Awards and 1 Grammy Award.

On the other hand, Beyoncé has been so amazing on her rendition of Can You Feel the Love Tonight? with Donald Glover that fellow co-star Billy Eichner can't help crying as he hears the song. The equally award-winning animated movie of 1994 is set to be released on July 19, 2019, will use the voices of stars Beyoncé as Nala, Donald Glover as Simba, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar and Billy Eichner as Timon. At this time, both movies of Taylor Swift and Beyoncé has not yet reached the big screen however there is news that allegedly, these two artists are already competing for a slot in the 2020 Academy awards.

And with the 2019 Oscars just recently finished, there is no assurance of a nomination until the last quarter of the year, and definitely after the released of Cats yet in December. Another reason for this baseless claim is that Taylor Swift might get an acting nomination while Beyoncé will probably get the Best Original Song, to which are both entirely different categories. And even though these artists would make up an "imaginary feud" just to spice up the event, the planning is too premature and simply "nonsense" as stated by a source close to Beyoncé.
