After a long wait, Attack on Titan Chapter 116 will be finally revealed, as its Twitter page unveiled its official title. A lot is about to happen in the new chapter that involves an attack, Eren's transformation that will ignite a battle with Reiner, and more.
In a post on Twitter, @AoTWiki revealed Attack on Titan Chapter 116 would bear the title "Heaven and Earth." According to Comic Book, the current arc showed Eren's new side after he skipped. He had dramatically shifted from what fans used to see of him before, as the previous installment gave the latest insights into his new goals for the world.
Zeke is still alive, although Levi's future has yet to be revealed. Hange's escape seemed to indicate she knew Levi is still alive, but this storyline is yet to be explored. In Attack on Titan Chapter 116, the forces of Marley might put the Eldians under attack.
Attack on Titan Chapter 116 might also feature Yelena killing someone in front of the detainees and Onyakopoon, per Hiptoro. Everyone would be shocked as they are going to witness how she would kill one of her soldiers. However, he would later bow down and apologize for his rudeness, although it has yet to be revealed what would happen next.
Fans would also see Pieck and Eren talking to each other in Attack on Titan Chapter 116. Pieck would ask Gabi to kill Eren, but she would be a little hesitant. Eren would then threaten to transform as a Titan, but if he did it, Pieck told him that her comrades might know his location. So, Eren might use Warhammer Titan instead of Attack Titan.
"You aren't allowed to kill the founding member of Titan," Eren told Pieck in Attack on Titan Chapter 116. "The order is just to capture him. Even here, one can't afford to change into Titan and eat me up, alive, right?"
When Eren transformed, Reiner and Porco appeared, while Pieck took Gabi to escape in Attack on Titan Chapter 116. In the last scene, Eren seems angry while Reiner looks determined as they stare at each other's eyes. "You got to be the victim of the Liberio. I shall put you to an end," a text said, which indicates a battle between the two.
The next scenes would be revealed in Attack on Titan Chapter 116. Unfortunately, fans would not see Annie, Levi, and Hange in this chapter. But, they might make an appearance in the next installments. "Heaven and Earth" is set to be out on Tuesday, April 9, in Japan.
