The investigation concerning the operations of Burning Sun has stemmed into more complicated evidence that can have too many connections. Dangerous as it may seem, these connections have been into these kinds of activities worldwide, and they are those that mean serious business. The police handling the investigation has already confirmed some of the evidence gathered and have already served the case to the appropriate personalities.

Burning Sun has not only been into drug distribution, prostitution, police cover-ups and having illegally installed hidden cameras, but they have also hired minors with security roles in the club. With the recent result of the investigation, authorities have already have charged the club and the club's two co-CEOs for violating the Juvenile Protection Act. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has already confirmed the involvement of Burning Sun Club and its management specifically its co-CEO including CEO Lee Moon Ho of hiring minors after they received a complaint about the club operating with minors. Because of this, authorities acted upon the complaint, and as a result of their investigation, there were four male minors hired as guards by Burning Sun.

As mentioned earlier, Burning Sun was into its illegal activities for a long time because of the protection of some police personnel. Police Chief Min Gap Ryong have already questioned in 6 police officers; each one violated different protocols like abandoning his duty while the case is processing, three police officers have abused their authority by leaking secret files and protecting suspicions to their superintendent. One has abandoned his post while providing inadequate investigation to Seongdong Police Station and another one is in question for announcing some criminal facts to unauthorized persons. Developments on the investigation of 6 police officers are so far moving forward with 5 of them already arrested while South Korea police will need its neighboring country, China assistance on their investigation.

Allegedly, Burning Sun has connections with a Taiwanese businesswoman and the allegations tying her to the Triads. The unnamed businesswoman holds a large number of shares to Burning Sun, and she has been rumored to be a member of the Triad syndicate that works within the Asian countries, more so it is believed that she, together with her husband who has been known to be a high stake gambler in Taiwan. Now, Seoul's National Police Agency wanted to delve deeper into the complicated connection as it will somehow answer how Burning Sun operates using cryptocurrency business and how far did the crimes reached to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan.
