It was recently noted that Melania Trump may be taking fashion inspiration from British royals Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. The First Lady of the United States has been spied wearing styles and brands which are favored by the two ladies who are viewed as venerable fashion icons.

A former fashion model herself, the FLOTUS has always appeared in the public eye tastefully as well as expensively arrayed. Lately though, there has been some noticeable shift in her style which some have viewed as being influenced by the fashion forward British duchesses.

Melania is now favoring the luxury British fashion brand LK Bennett which the 37-year-old Duchess of Cambridge leans toward as her frequent dress style choice.

The U.S. First Lady was sporting the chic orange-black-and-white Andrea ensemble of the aforementioned clothing label at the Trump's Palm Beach, Florida resort, Mar-A-Lago, when she welcomed the Carribean leaders only lately.

With her outfit, Melania wore high heeled orange Manolo Blahnik shoes, which, incidentally, is a brand the Duchess of Sussex is known to be very fond of. Thirty-seven-year-old Markle, it was found out, has a whopping 37 pairs of footwear, among which are four different-colored pairs of designer Blahnik pointy-toed footwear.

Considering this outfit alone, Melania made waves among fashion enthusiasts who are now wondering whether this current style the First Lady is now leaning toward was gleaned from the two royals mentioned above.

For expert advice, the most sought after Washington DC stylist, Lindsey Evans, who has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, and Instyle, to mention a few, was recently sought for comment. Evans has worked over the years with the big stars Madonna, Katie Perry, and Taylor Swift, assisting in developing the style these fashionable women have worn over time.

Regarding the two designers that Melania has now started wearing, Evans has pointed out that the brands represent both "timeless" and "classic" pieces which stylists lean toward when designing for clients with a style leaning toward classic elegance.

Shortly after being seen at Mar-A-Lago, Melania was also caught channeling Markle in a green, white, and navy printed number, which was reminiscent of a pattern the latter has also worn before.

Last month, the First Lady donned a green coat dress worth €1,000, a style that both Middleton and Markle have also frequently worn.

She has also been recently photographed channeling her inner Lady Diana as well as the Duchesses in a style the latter women have resorted to when taking their children out on casual outings. Melania rocked in sneakers and Hilfiger top paired with skinny jeans.

A few have suggested that the shift in style that Melania is taking may be her effort toward getting away from the seemingly inappropriate images she had previously presented in various social appearances, like her visit to Texas during the 2017 big flood where she wore her Christian Louboutin fashion footwear.

She was also criticized in 2018 for wearing her Spanish retailer Zara brand jacket at the Mexican border when she dropped by to be with undocumented children.
