The cheating allegations surrounding Prince William and Kate Middleton's relationship allegedly affects the palace and their marriage. The Royal family is reportedly taking great measures to control the rumors from spreading by taking legal action.
According to The Daily Beast, In Touch magazine is the first mainstream publication that published the rumor about Prince William's alleged cheating scandal. There are claims the Duke of Cambridge cheated on Kate Middleton over Rose Hanbury, Middleton's friend, the family's neighbor, and the Marchioness of Cholmondeley pronounced as Chumley.
The report has said to "electrify" high British society. Prince William and Rose Hanbury's alleged affair was believed to begin when Kate Middleton was pregnant with their third child, Prince Louis.
A source said Kate Middleton immediately confronted Prince William upon hearing the news. The Royal Knight of the Garter, on the other hand, reportedly "just laughed" about it, denying the claims.
Despite the denial, Kate Middleton asked Prince William to stop socializing with the Cholmondeleys. "Kate sees their friendship in an entirely different light now," the insider continued to say. The Duchess of Cambridge's trust in her husband has also tarnished.
Although there are no questions if Kate Middleton and Prince William are going to call it quits, the cheating rumors have "rocked the palace and their marriage." The issue is now the palace's concern as it seriously breached its rules to be silent on rumors like it to the mainstream media.
So to control the rumors from spreading, Prince William's lawyers warned they would take legal action if U.K. media report the same rumors American magazines published about his alleged affair with Rose Hanbury. "In addition to being false and highly damaging, the publication of false speculation in respect of our clients' private life also constitutes a breach of his privacy pursuant to Article 8 of the European Convention to Human Rights," London's top law firm Harbottle and Lewis said in a letter, via Washington Examiner.
British outlets have reported stories about Kate Middleton and Rose Hanbury's alleged fallout. Some people see this tale as a cover-up to Prince William's alleged affair with their aristocratic neighbor.
So, who really is Rose Hanbury? Hanbury is a 33-year-old former model and the wife of the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, David Rocksavage. She has twin boys and a daughter, Alexander, Earl of Rocksavage, Oliver, Lord Cholmondeley, and Lady Iris.
The Cholmondeleys live near Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham estate. Rose Hanbury and David Rocksavage reportedly became close to Prince William and Kate Middleton when they moved to Anmer Hall in 2014, before they live in Kensington Palace. The palace has yet to reveal an official statement about the issue.
