Tristan Thompson has picked some 'me' over "we' time with his daughter, True, and Khloe and left straight for Canada after his National Basketball Association season ended.

Some might be wondering what was so important that the Cleveland Cavalier would have to skip out on her daughter's birthday to go running back to his hometown. A friend of the NBA player shared with HollywoodLife that the 28-year-old intended to go and visit some family and friends of his.

The source also revealed that True Thompson's father is just too exhausted after his basketball season that he just wanted to focus on "himself" at the moment. The same source went on to say that Thompson needed to see "his people" and get "in touch" with them.

Thompson is confident that Khloe Kardashian is looking after his daughter well and so his "priority" right now, while all this "free time" is available, is to look after "himself first."

In the meantime, mommy Khloe is stressed out over the upcoming big day for her baby True who is set to have her first birthday April 12. It was also reported that, while Kardashian wants what is best for her baby---and that is to have his father over for her birthday---she might not be able to "keep it together," sister Kim Kardashian was said to have concluded, adding that Khloe may just "lose it."

Khloe has been getting emotional over this milestone in her baby's life, something which she has expressed on social media, asking whether it was "weird" that she may be having some "anxiety" with just the thought that True would soon be turning one.

She went on to mope she did not understand how time could fly that fast, remarking that she was "happy." Possibly teary-eyed, she thanked the Lord "for every moment," quipping to have someone "bring" her "the tissue."

Another source has shared that Khloe is also looking for a way that Thompson could get "involved" and present at their daughter's celebration.

Still another source shared that what Khloe may be feeling now is some ambivalence over what the right thing to do would be. On the one hand, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians starrer does not want the bad state of her relationship with Thompson to be the reason why her daughter cannot spend time with her father.

And while it has been said that Khloe is "very good" in keeping her feelings compartmentalized, Kim's assessment may be hitting close to home when she had made that remark Khloe may not keep from losing her cool if Thompson were to be present.
