With only a few episodes left for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 20, it seems that NBC is pushing the series to end on May. Based on the schedule of the recent episodes of the season, it appears that the show now takes a usual break of a week or two. And as for the upcoming episode, Exchange, the network has pushed its premiere on a much later date.
Although there is not much information about the reason behind, many fans think that this is just a way for NBC to wrap up the series on an ideal schedule. And in consideration to the upcoming premiere dates of the other series, the month of May is packed with lots of new seasons of different series on the network.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 20 Episode 21 titled Exchange is the fourth to the last installment to the current season. And as the near end approaches, it seemingly appears that the plot is getting more intense than ever. While each episode of the show is seen as a standalone installment to a season, the current plot is observed to unveil more surprising twists once the latter episodes drop on NBC.
The official synopsis of Exchange reveals that the upcoming episode will focus on a young exchange student in the city from a foreign country. And based on the trailer, it shows that this young girl is "trapped" in a dangerous situation that surely needs saving by the most appropriate persons - in this case - Benson, along with the whole Law & Order: Special Victims Unit team.
Aside from these things, it is also worth noting that this student was assaulted by a cab driver that led to the events of the whole episode. But, of course, this is Law & Order: Special Victims Unit that, so, surprising twists and turnouts of events should be expected.
On another note, it is still not known if Titus Welliver is now returning for this episode. And as you may know, his return to the last few episodes of the show as Rob Miller is already revealed to the public. So, there is a huge chance that he might now reappear in the upcoming episode.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 20 is rescheduled to return on April 25. And instead of catching an all-new episode on April 18, fans and viewers will get to rewatch the Season 20 Episode 7 titled Caretaker.
