Queen Elizabeth is reportedly making more efforts for Meghan Markle, and the reason why she's reportedly doing this is because of Princess Diana. Reports say Her Majesty has learned the lessons from the past, that's why she's exerting efforts for the Duchess of Sussex.

According to the documentary Harry and Meghan: The First 100 Days in 2018, biographer Duncan Larcombe and royal author Katie Nicholl believed Queen Elizabeth is putting more efforts for her granddaughter-in-law because she now learned the lessons from the past, especially how to treat Markle and it's all because of her former daughter-in-law Diana.

The late ex-wife of Prince Charles reportedly complained being extremely isolated and being misunderstood from the royal household, that's why Her Majesty is trying to correct this by treating the Duchess of Sussex right. Larcombe said Queen Elizabeth now knows the lessons the past has brought to them.

Also, the royal family was reportedly aware how badly Princess Diana has been affected by this in the early years of her marriage, which made her feel like she couldn't cope with the alien world she joined. Nicholl also agreed with this, saying they were seemed to come unstuck from the past, particularly when Queen Elizabeth had her first solo engagement with the Duchess of Sussex.

Nicholl further added how the firm's members failed to go out of their way for the late Princess Diana, so she questions why they are now exerting more efforts for Markle. The royal author continues saying if Queen Elizabeth would go out with Markle, support her, and bring her in under her wing, it would deliver a positive message to the public.

However, in another report, Her Majesty reportedly disapproves "Meghan Markle's Effect" on her husband. Reports claim Prince Harry agreed to work with Oprah Winfrey for the upcoming Apple documentary regarding mental illness.

As per Larcombe, this move is already considered as one of the Duchess' influences on their marriage. He said the Duke of Sussex is going along with his wife, but it should be the other way around.

Meanwhile, the royal couple announced their plan of keeping their child's birth a secret, and many of their supporters understand their choice and praise her decision. But then, others are not that happy and even slammed the royal spouses. They reportedly claim they are also entitled to know the details about the royal baby, as they believe they are the ones who paid for their "privileged lives."
