Floyd Mayweather Jr. taunted an announcement over the media that made the Pacquaio vs Mayweather rematch supporters think that the two big names will don the gloves again.

On Tuesday, Floyd Mayweather Jr. posted a video on his Instagram account teasing the public over an announcement that he is about to make. The video ignited the hope for fans to see Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. together in the ring once again.

The Instagram video which ran for only a few seconds opens with Mayweather walking at a setting that seems like an airport. Floyd was surrounded by "The Money Team" as introduced at the beginning of the video.

Flashes of cameras can be heard at the background later overpowered by a voice coming from Mayweather. He later showed up on the scene sitting at what appears to be a press conference finishing his statement thanking the media and his business partners and ending up his statement saying that he has an announcement to make.

The IG video that closed flashing the word Wednesday started a buzz on the internet and sports news outlets. For fans eagerly waiting for a rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., hopes are arising that the announcement could be about the "MayPac 2."

The media announcement taunt added up to the rumors of Mayweather undergoing intensive training preparing for his boxing arena come back. With the said rumors surfacing, "MayPac 2" fans can't help but think that Floyd is getting ready to give Manny Pacquiao another taste of what he's got.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s post which got the fans to believe for a Mayweather Pacquiao rematch has been viewed more than one million times as of this writing. As the views keep increasing comments are getting more and more intense from the fans pushing for the "MayPac 2."

Mayweather previously released a statement saying that he is showing up in a series of 2019 exhibition capacity. However, none of his listed plans to reappear in the ring for this year has materialized yet.

As of the moment, Manny Pacquiao still has not released a word on a rematch against Floyd Mayweather Jr. Rumors, on the other hand, are opening up for a list of possible names that Pacquiao could consider.
