FBI is one of the most watched series on CBS. And with its imminent end, it seems that the network is pushing the schedule to include the series on a May sweep along with the other shows like MacGyver, NCIS, and The Big Bang Theory.

The most recent installment of FBI is its nineteenth episode to the pilot season that carries the title, Conflict of Interest. This was actually aired on April 16, on CW. So, it is only fitting to expect that the next episode would fall on an April-23 schedule. However, recent reports confirmed that the upcoming episode of the season will drop in the network by April 30.

Apparently, it's been a month now that FBI is having a strange pattern when it comes to the episode premiere schedules. As it happens, new episodes are dropped every other week. And what comes in between these weeks are replays of the old episodes.

The reason for having this kind of schedule is still unknown. But it somehow shows that CBS is truly hoping for a May sweep, as mentioned above since there are a lot of series' installments that will end on that month. Nevertheless, this kind of schedule arrangement adds more hype and tense to the audience which is seen to produce positive results.

Now, FBI is now looking at its fast-approaching season finale. And the What Lies Beneath episode will serve as the second to the last episode for this season. But while the imminent end is now two episodes away, the pilot season would not leave the scene without letting the fans and audience know more about OA's character.

According to Cartermatt, the next episode of the show seems to have its focus on OA's character. Although the viewers have already witnessed most of his traits and skills, his truest self that lies underneath is not yet revealed in the show. And based on the title and synopsis, it somehow reveals that this episode will pertain mainly to OA.

When the new episode of FBI drops on CBS, it is revealed that OA will be assigned to the security detail of a controversial Egyptian leader who will come to New York. And after this assignment, it is also said that OA will find a hard time balancing his personal and professional sides as he does the job at hand.

Although there is no direct mentioning that the title speaks only of him, there are great indications that this is now the right time to reveal what lies underneath OA and his character.
