The Charmed Ones are still quite at a loss with Harry (played by Rupert Evans) gone in Charmed. However, they have a new white lighter in Tessa (played by Chloe Bridges) who may help them unleash the "Power of Four."
Charmed season 1 episode 19 will find Mel (played by Melonie Diaz), Macy (played by Madeleine Mantock) and Maggie (played by Sarah Jeffrey) asking for Tessa's help despite their misgivings about her, as per the episode synopsis. They will be left with little choices as it's only Tessa who can bring much-needed support.
Introduced in a previous episode, Tessa serves as Harry's replacement as the girls still need to learn how to use their powers better. However, the initial relationship between Tessa and the Charmed Ones has been rocky since Tessa's style is different as she's too much in control.
In Charmed season 1 episode 18, Tessa explained to the girls that she's not all that evil even if she's might come off as hard on the Charmed Ones. As per TV Fanatic, Tessa is this way because the Elders gave her a job and responsibility as the white lighter, and she's dedicated and conditioned to do that job well.
Despite how the Charmed Ones and Tessa rub each other the wrong way, it's still pretty clear that she's impressed by her wards. So, approaching Tessa for her help could signal a breakthrough in their relationship in Charmed season 1 episode 19.
Mel, however, might also find some help through Niko (played by Ellen Tamaki) but this won't be so easy. Niko has a difficult request from Mel that entails learning about her past. Could this have some repercussions to her present situation?
Parker (played by Nick Hargrove), on the other hand, will seek comfort from Maggie after he tries but fails to overcome his demon side in Charmed season 1 episode 19. This episode will air on Sunday, April 28, at 9:00 p.m. on The CW.
Meanwhile, the network has confirmed the renewal of the Charmed reboot for a second season with some new changes. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro will step in as the new showrunners after Carter Covington has left the show.
Charmed season 2 is expected to explore more supernatural storylines now that the family dynamics have been established. Aside from the three female leads, Evans, Hargrove and Ser'Darius Blain are also expected to return for the second season.
