Song Hye Kyo is, undeniably, one of the most popular actresses of her generations. In February, many fans were shocked when Song Hye Kyo announced that she would take a break from acting after the conclusion of Encounter series, which also starred Park Bo Gum. Song Joong Ki's better half shared that she would not accept any projects until the end of the year to take care of her personal life.
Song Hye Kyo's announcement was made amid the speculations claiming that she and Song Joong Ki are headed for divorce. This, then, sparked rumors that the Descendants of the Sun stars could be facing some serious problems on their marriage. Just a few hours before the official announcement, Song Hye Kyo expressed her interest in working with Chinese filmmakers. "I want to work on more projects with Chinese directors and actors," the wife of Song Joong Ki divulged during a film festival in Hong Kong on April 14. Following the reveal, the Full House actress is expected to expand promotions in China in the following weeks.
No other details about the imminent film have been made public as of yet. However, if the production takes place in China, then, there is a possibility that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo would be living separately for a short time. Despite this, avid followers of the couple should note that this is just a prediction, and nothing is finalized up to this writing.
