After almost two years of waiting, the much-hyped Battle of Winterfell will be finally seen in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3. There are a lot of theories surrounding the yet-to-be-titled episode from deaths to the possible confirmation of the assumption Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and the Night King (Vladimir 'Furdo' Furdik) are only one.
There are theories Podrick Payne (Daniel Portman) will meet his demise in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 after Gwendoline Christie's, who plays as Brienne of Tarth, emotional post on Instagram. "OH MY POD! @danportman Spending the last five seasons with the absolutely wonderfully talented Daniel Podrick Portmanteau has been a POD-SEND!" she captioned the snap. "I love you and I miss you and I can't wait to watch you bloom through the rest of your career! IF YOU WERE A BAG, YOU'D BE A BAG-FOR-LIFE."

According to Express.co.uk, Christie seemed to hint Podrick would die in the Battle of Winterfell in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3. As the 40-year-old star shared the post before the epic fight would take place, it gave birth to the theories that she was already saying goodbye to the fan-favorite squire.
There is another theory that Bran may die in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3, as he will be used as a bait to lure and trap the Night King. The fan site Watchers On The Wall deputy editor Luka Nieto said Bran would play a big role in the Battle of Winterfell.
In the previous episode, Bran revealed the Night King is looking for him. The leader of the White Walkers even left a mark on his arm, so he could track him. Elite Daily reported the Night King wanted to create a never-ending night that would wipe away the entire Westeros, which seemed to be impossible while Bran is around, for he is holding the Three-Eyed Raven's ability to keep all the memories and history of everything that happened and is happening.
It is not yet revealed how Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) would use Bran as bait in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3, although they opposed the idea. But, whatever would happen, fans might once again see Bran face-to-face with the Night King and might finally put clarity to the theory that they are only one. This scene could also cost Bran his life.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 will air on Sunday, April 28, at 9 p.m. on HBO. The episode is said to run for 80 minutes, which will be one of the over hour-length episodes.
