Queen Elizabeth may abdicate sometime this year, but not because of Prince Charles or Prince William. The reason why she is doing this, as per reports, is because there will be an addition to the royal family.

According to the spokesperson for bookmakers Coral, Harry Aitkenhead, now that Queen Elizabeth is 93-years-old, she might consider stepping down from the throne, especially because there's another addition to the royal family. He said Her Majesty is probably thinking to abdicate right now due to the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first child.

Also, Aitkenhead said "Elizabeth" is still one of the top choices among punter at 5-1 for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex baby's name. He noted that whenever a royal baby arrives, there were so many royal punters getting their bets off for the name.

Right now, the name Elizabeth is dominating the market, and most of their Coral customers are reportedly placing their wages on the royal couple to pay tribute to Her Majesty. Another top name choice if the baby is a girl is Diana to honor Prince Harry's late mother.

Royal etiquette expert Myka Meier also said the Duchess of Sussex might give the baby a unique African middle name as the country is reportedly close to her and her husband's hearts. Currently, there are no confirmed reports if Markle has given birth, but she said earlier this year they're expecting their baby to arrive at the end of April or the beginning of May.

The royal couple also announced that when Baby Sussex arrives, they'll keep it in private until after they've celebrated as a family. Since they want to keep it a secret, royal fans aren't also sure whether Prince Harry and Markle's firstborn child is a boy or a girl, and what would be his or her name.

In another report, royal expert Katie Nicholl said Queen Elizabeth likes Markle as she recognizes how Duchess of Sussex makes Prince Harry happy. Also, Her Majesty sees how capable Markle is as a royal. This is reportedly one of the many reasons why Markle's courtship was in Windsor.

She further noted that Her Majesty put the Duchess of Sussex on the world stage even before she becomes a member of the royal family, which only proves that Markle was already approved in the family a long time ago. And for Prince Harry, Nicholl said it is important for him to get Queen Elizabeth's approval since they have a loving relationship.
