Police confirmed that some men who went to Seungri's Christmas party back in 2015 received prostitution services. Before this confirmation, however, the former Big Bang member denied the allegations made against him and said he was not involved in any prostitution mediation.

An official of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency confirmed on Thursday, May 2, the purchase of prostitution services from some men who accompanied Japanese CEO A when he went to Korea back in 2015. But, the official also explained CEO A entered the country with his wife, and there were not points of suspicions that he's involved in the crime being charged.

Seungri's 2015 Christmas party was reportedly held at a luxury bar in Cheongdam neighborhood in Seoul. Reports say the former Big Bang member invited some of his celebrity friends including Choi Joong Hoon, Jung Joon Young, as well as some Japanese investors, including CEO A.

However, CEO A said in an interview with Channel A that he went to the Christmas party with his wife and the allegations and reported suspicions are not true as well. Police have been investigating this alleged prostitution ring which is based on the exchanged messages between Seungri, Yoo In Suk, and others.

In some of the conversations, it pointed out that Seungri was indeed directing prostitution services for the Japanese investor. Yoo In Suk admitted to the police that prostitutes were called in December 2015 for a Japanese investor and that there's a payment for sexual services rendered.

The police also confirmed a hotel transaction made through a YG Entertainment company card, where the accompanying parties of the Japanese investor reportedly stayed at, and that Seungri is being suspected of mediated prostitution services.

Before this report, the former Big Bang member denied the allegations made against him and maintained he wasn't involved in any prostitution mediation. Seungri acknowledged he paid for the hotel using a YG Entertainment company card but said it wasn't meant to provide prostitution services.

He explained that the investor was hospitable while he was abroad, so he just wanted to return the favor by paying for his hotel in Korea.

Seungri was once again summoned on April 30 for questioning and further investigation, and then, the police will decide whether or not to request an arrest warrant for him, as well as Yoo In Suk. The police said they're in the last stages of the investigation, and will decide promptly if they would request warrants or not.
