More evidence is gathered against Hwang Hana as a Club Burning Sun insider revealed Namyang Dairy's granddaughter is frequently seen in the bar. As the revelations surrounding the scandal is evidently growing, more and more names are coming into light, involving big names in the country.
In a report by JTBC's Spotlight on the 2nd, via AllKpop, it revealed the insider often saw Hwang Hana in the club with Seungri and CEO Lee Munho. The source, who happened to be Club Burning Sun's employee, narrated he came to the bar mostly wearing a hat and mask. He, along with 000, Munho, and the former Big Bang member, often met with VIP Madame Lin Samo at the VIP table.
At one point, the golden bell went off as someone ordered the Mansour set. The woman who asked for the drink was revealed to be Hwang Hana. The insider continued to say Park Yoochun's former girlfriend has a "special relationship" with Lee Munho and Seungri.
In March, Hwang Hana got arrested due to allegations of drugs use. There were also claims that she took drugs with entertainer "A," who was revealed to be Park Yoochun.
Park Yoochun tested positive for drug use. With a lot of evidence that supports the claims against him, he admitted to the charges and now in jail waiting for prosecution.
According to E! News, Park Yoochun admitted he was buying and using the illegal drug Philopon. Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency's Narcotics Unit revealed the 32-year-old singer admitted most of the drug charges that he was accused of, including buying 1.5 grams of Philopon with Hwang Hana three times from February to March and injecting the drug five times.
After Park Yoochun pleaded guilty, his lawyer, Kwon Chang-Beom, terminated all his work related to him. "I announce that I am terminating all work related to Park Yoochun starting today," he said in a statement. "Park Yoochun has admitted to his actions and is faithfully participating in the questioning."
The police are still trying to tie the case's loose ends before they bring it to a close and hand it to the prosecution. After then, Park Yoochun's sentence will be decided.
Meanwhile, Hwang Hana's arrest built tension when she refused to submit to the police's subpoena. MBC's News Desk on the 3rd reported, the authorities reopened the investigation of her case after new details about it leaked to the media.
There were even reports Hwang Hana used a "burner phone" to avoid getting tracked by the police. A source said it was the cell phone she used whenever she was under investigation and for other drug-related calls.
