Will Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) choose Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) or Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni)? This is the question lingering in the back of the fans' minds for months now and luckily, the trailer for the upcoming Jane The Virgin Season 5 Episode 7 might give us a hint on who wins over her heart.
Before that, here's a quick recap of what happened in the latest episode of Jane The Virgin Season 5. Episode 7, titled "Chapter Eighty-Seven," saw Jane Gloriana Villanueva still confused about her feelings toward Michael Cordero.
Due to the peer pressure, Jane Gloriana Villanueva sent Michael Cordero a simple text, and he called her back immediately and asked to see her that afternoon. Only that was not a date by any means. Instead, they discussed why and how Rose (Bridget Regan) faked his death.
Suddenly, Jane Glorina Villanueva's phone rang. It was her son's karate teacher informing her that Rafael Solano did not show up to pick Mateo Gloriano Rogelio Solano Villanueva (Elias Janssen) up from practice. Hence, she rushed to the dojo.
Upset, Jane Glorina Villanueva was about to confront Rafael Solano as to why he did not pick up Mateo Rogelio Solano Villanueva but chose not to after the twins Anna & Elsa Ellie (Mia and Ella Allan) mentioned that they saw him taking a secret pill. Hence, she enlisted Petra Solano's (Yael Grobglas) help.
Rafael Solano, however, found out that Jane Glorina Villanueva was lurking on his medicine cabinet and as a result, he asked for space stating he does not want to see her until she's supposed to pick their son up in the next three days.
Hence, she accepts Michael Cordero's invitation to come with him to Montana for the weekend. There, the two are expected to reflect on how they feel toward each other when they are away from all the ghosts of their past in Miami.
While viewers will not see this trip until next week, several fans are already guessing on what they think will happen in Jane The Virgin Season 5 Episode 7. One Reddit user (via Express.co.uk) said: "I think Jane will see his life in Montana and they'll finally be in the snow like they always wanted. But she will ultimately decide to go back to Miami because they'll find it won't work... Too much has changed, their lives are different, and no way will Mateo want to move."
