It's been over a week now since ME! has been dropped. But while this new single from Taylor Swift is truly magical and enchanting, especially for the whole Swifties fandom, everyone is still eager to learn more about Taylor's new and upcoming album.
Apparently, almost all of the fans thought that they would finally enjoy a new album from Taylor last April 26. But instead, the Love Story singer dropped her newest single, ME!, that actually serves as the leadoff single to her seventh and upcoming album. And the only thing that she revealed about her next album is that its name is included on the music video of ME!.
Quite obviously, this challenged, once again, the fans to decode another clue from Taylor Swift. And this has been very effective to almost everyone. In fact, the number of theories and speculations have incredibly increased in just a few hours. And when Taylor revealed that no one is still getting the whole picture, this even stimulated the whole situation for the fandom.
A few days after the release of ME!, another video has been shared. And apparently, this video is the official lyric music video of her latest single. Surprisingly, Taylor Swift revealed that some of her fans already figured out the name of her upcoming album. But sadly, this has been the only update that she shared about it.
Even so, there are only four apparent theories that have been circulating on the internet. So, there is a huge chance that one of these theories is actually right.
These four guesses include rainbow, home, kaleidoscope, and lover. And in each album name assumption, the explanations are quite logical. But the most convincing of them all is the "lover" theory.
As it happens, the word, Lover, is very much apparent in the music video of ME! which perfectly fits Taylor Swift's hint that the name of the album is largely seen on the music video. Not to mention, all of her cryptic posts come with five hearts in their captions which is also the same number of the letters found in "lover."
According to Taylor, she will release her album at the right time. But as for the actual date, there are no details yet. For all we know, she charges her fans to take things really slow and "calm down" to savor the moment.
It is also worth noting that a new single will be released anytime soon. And it is very likely that her upcoming album will come shortly after.
