After 14 years of waiting, the official sequel for 2003 film, House of 1000 corpses, is now arriving that carries the title, 3 From Hell.

Apparently, House of 1000 Corpses is a directorial debut film by Rob Zombie. And with its massive success more than a decade ago, Zombie continued his legacy by following the first film with his 2005 film, The Devil's Rejects.

While The Devil's Rejects is just considered as a semi-sequel to the prior horror film, it has been depicted as Zombie's best film of all time. However, things might change soon as 3 From Hell is already announced to arrive this year.

Earlier on April, Rob Zombie revealed that he just finished the whole production and filming of his upcoming horror film. And without further ado, he revealed that it will arrive on a "September vicinity."

Quite interestingly, Zombie's upcoming horror film has been given an R-rating. Accordingly, the movie is expected to show "strong sadistic violence," nudity, and drug use.

With its rating at hand, this only persists to show that it's not for everyone to fully enjoy. Even so, the film now largely catches the attention and curiosity of many horror-film lovers.

The R rating that has been given to 3 From Hell is considerably a win for Rob Zombie alongside his avid fans. As it happens, when his 2016 film, 31, received an NC-17 rating even after two attempts of bringing it down, it "crippled" the expected reach of the said film. As a result, it limited the supposed success of 31 as per Loud Wire.

As you may know, an NC-17 rating for a film means that only individuals of 17 years of age and above are the ones allowed to see the film. So, when 3 From Hell has been given an R rating, this has been considered a win for both Zombie and the fandom.

In terms of the plot, the fans of both House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects will find the upcoming horror film a very pleasing one as it will continue the lives of the three "rejects." These roles will be reprised by Sid Haig, Sheri Moon Zombie, and Bill Moseley.

Although their characters have already faced their respective demise from the previous films, it seems that Zombie was able to bring them back from hell, hence, the title of the upcoming film.
