After three seasons of being successful, Colony is not returning for another season. Unfortunately, USA Network confirmed this sad news just a few days before the premiere of its third season finale in July of 2018.
This announcement about its renewal odds has become a real surprise to everyone, especially to the whole fandom of Colony. And what made everyone so much more curious was because no information has been given to the public.
Accordingly, most of the fans have theorized and speculated that it is very likely that the apparent decline to the viewership ratings is one of the reasons behind. As it happened, the third season showed a million decrease in the number of viewers. And if based on numbers alone, this is already a tell that the series might not be as pleasing as it used to be when it first aired.
