It's catchy, it's fun, and it's groovy. The music video has the most beautiful and talented Korean girl group dancing to a charismatic tune of no parallel. Today, BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" music video was seen by an estimated 300 million people on YouTube -- and in just less than a year!

"Kill This Love" debuted last April 5 and has already reached more than 300 million views. That's about 32 days and 5 hours after it was uploaded in the official BLACKPINK YouTube account.

True enough, this isn't the first of the girl group's music videos to gain huge fame. Before it, "Whistle," "DDU-DU DDU-DU,," "BOOMBAYAH," "Playing With Fire," and "As If It's Your Last" had gained huge fame among fans of K-pop across the world.

This huge news is a great follow-up to the girl group's fast rise to stardom. In the 2019 Shorty Awards, BLACKPINK won Best in Music defeating nominees including Harry Styles, Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, and Janelle Monae.

If you consider their monumental successes, we'd say their chances of winning the Shorty Awards was huge against Hollywood titans especially that Shorty focuses on famous artists, icons, and popular media consumed on the Internet.

However, the girl group has still much to do to defeat the ultimate 3 billion views that South Korean solo artist PSY's "Gangnam Style" had gained since 2012. But all things considered, reaching 300 million views in just 32 days is a huge success in itself and will most likely beat PSY's record built up in a total of seven years.

BLACKPINK's fame is ever-increasing to the point Niall Horan, former One Direction singer and now solo artist had followed each of the female K-pop group's Instagram accounts. Hollywood actors themselves aren't immune to the charm of K-pop. Ezra Miller, better known lately as DC Comics' iconic "The Flash," has admitted his love for the K-Pop group. He even danced to "As If It's Your Last!"

Recently, BLACKPINK's Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose has become the very first Korean group to perform as headliners in Coachella 2019. Indeed, this has surpassed the live participation of pop icon Dua Lipa performing in their recent Newark concert. But in all cases, this only goes to show that the group isn't strangers to Western performances.

With over 300 million views and counting on a single YouTube video and gaining an award for their greatness, there's no doubt BLACKPINK is one of those rare groups that will make a perpetual impact in world music.
