Knightfall Season 2 Episode 8 will be the show's final bow, and the scenes will surely be intense as a war is about to come. History has dropped the final episode's official trailer, and it teases an epic battle between the good and the bad.
"The death of the Knights Templar Order is imminent," Knightfall Season 2 Episode 8 official synopsis read. "Landry (Tom Cullen) and his Templar brothers are sentenced to burn at the stake."
In Knightfall Season 2 Episode 8 trailer, Talus (Mark Hamill) opens the scene with an epic battle as there are fires, arrows, and armies going here and there. "Feel God's wrath," he said.
King Philip (Ed Stoppard) emerged on the scene and asked his soldiers to catch his enemies. The Knights Templar remains free, and he seems to continuously suppress the group. The result of his actions is a vicious war on the streets of Paris.
As Knightfall Season 2 Episode 8 seems to be a lockdown for the Knights Templar, they need to find their way to escape, or at least prove themselves and bring the enemies down. "I'll delay them long enough," Talus' said, as his final words seem to be hunting in the last scene. Will he die this season?
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if History will renew the show for Season 3 after the events of Knightfall Season 2 Episode 8. The network already canceled Six after two seasons, while Vikings is set to come to an end after six seasons.
The show will only be one of the few remaining dramas in the network, so TV Series Finale noted the whole season has to perform good enough in the Nielsen ratings to keep it afloat and in the business. Knightfall Season 2 Episode 8 should also make a big impact to linger in the viewers' mind. It may end with a major cliffhanger to make fans clamoring for a new season renewal.
It has been known that the show's rating is the best indication of its future and its chance to stay on the air. The higher the ratings a series gets, there will be a big possibility that it will be renewed and survived.
