When Taylor Swift dropped her latest single, ME!, just before April ends, it appears that the artist has released a huge bomb to her fans. Taylor herself unveils that a lot of revelations are hidden in the music video to which she refers to as Easter eggs.
Accordingly, the whole fandom became so adamant about learning what these revelations are. And as it happens, these include the title of her next single, the name of her album, premiere and release dates, and a lot more.
With all of the "Easter eggs" hidden in the music video, a lot of things are already theorized in just a matter of a few days. And one of which is that Taylor Swift is now engaged to Joe Alwyn.
In one of Taylor's recent interviews, the Call It What You Want singer told the public that there is one secret that she has been keeping for months now. Of course, the fans grew even more curious about this secret of hers. Although many have specified that this could be all about her upcoming album, others chose to dig a little deeper. And this digging resulted in the thought of Taylor Swift being engaged to her English actor boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
During the first part of ME!'s music video, everyone would notice that Taylor Swift is wearing a ring with a huge heart in it. While she wore it on her middle finger, the fans can't help it but theorize that this could be an engagement ring.
What made this theory so much more interesting is that in the middle part of the music video, it can be seen that Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie "proposed" to her and gave her a ring. Although Taylor said no at first, she then accepted the "proposal" when a cat was given to her in the music video.
Just by watching the music video alone, it appears that Taylor Swift is hinting that Joe Alwyn has already proposed to her according to the fans. These theories were very apparent on Twitter just right after a few hours of the release.
Although Taylor Swift does not confirm all the theories and speculations, she stated that all things would be finally revealed in the coming months. But even so, the whole fandom is still firm to the idea that Taylor and Joe are now engaged. Not to mention, the two are seen a few days ago in London's Notting Hill as they skipped this year's MET Gala.
