They called in a truce in social media eight months ago, but fans just can't help but notice something about Nicki Minaj and Cardi B's outfit in the recently held Met Gala. Good thing though the two personalities decided not to distance themselves from each other during the event. However, onlookers are determined one of them just copied the other's outfit and amazingly got away with it perfectly well.

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B knew too well not to repeat the explosive brawl they had eight months ago at the New York Fashion Week. There were too much shouting and high-heels thrown at each other with their violent exchange of comments continued to their social media accounts. The fight originated from a comment against Cardi B's daughter, Kulture Kiari but was later on cleared by Nicki Minaj that it was that her friend Rah Ali who the one to hit Cardi B.

As fans came in to join in the online brawl between the two rappers, Nicki Minaj finally called a truce by saying "Ok you guys, let's focus on positive things only from here on out. We're all so blessed. I know this stuff is entertaining & funny to a lot of people, but I won't be discussing this nonsense anymore." The Met Gala held last May 6 was the first event Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B attended at the same time after their feud, and they have focused instead on the event's theme: "Camp: Notes on Fashion."

Nicky Minaj wore an amazing baby pink dress decorated with gorgeous diamonds and tied a high tail, from long pink hair dyed in pink, complementing her pink dress. Cardi B on the other hand, allegedly got her outfit this year from an inspiration of Nicki Minaj's exquisite Oscar de la Renta gown which featured a plunging neckline, dramatic red headpiece, and a super long train, worn on Met Gala 2018 techno theme. Fans were quick to notice and accused the Money hitmaker of copying Nicki Minaj's last year's outfit with her custom oxblood Thom Browne gown that featured a train which extended outward in concentric circles for about 10 feet.

Comments from netizens such as "Cardi's inspiration for today was Nicki" while another fan replied, "Nicki is an obsession" flooded the social media. Although opinions vary a lot with some siding at Cardi B saying "except Cardi kinda did it better" and better to take note that it was Rihanna who started it all. Her yellow Dior gown at the 2015 Met Gala was indeed the super size dress trend at that time.

Looking back in the music video for the remix of G-Eazy's "No Limit," Cardi B was also accused of "looking like" Nicki Minaj sometime in December 2017. The Bang Bang hitmaker had an epic response to her fans saying "I'm glad ya'll peeped." But this time, it is best for the two of them not to mind their fan's opinion just because of a harmless dress that did not look so much alike.
